As the Los Angeles region serves as a major gateway to international trade, we believe our distinguished members will benefit from our speakers' insights on key strategies regarding: the importance of exports by SMEs to the U.S. economy including accessing working capital export finance (with a strong focus on SMEs owned by women and people of color) and the impact of assets and trade restrictions to global trade. Accessing U.S. goods for global markets is critical for strengthening our national economy. Global Initiatives Council members are active in global markets, key leaders in the international community, and diplomats of the Los Angeles Consular Corps who work to create employment opportunities in the region by increasing exports, imports and foreign investments.
